Problems with the critical studies approach to the study of terrorism

This paper responds to many of the criticisms of conventional terrorism studies expressed by those who have chosen to adopt the ‘critical terrorism studies’ approach. Given our own limitations, we cannot comment very much on the virtues or vices of critical theory in aiding our understanding of terrorism.
