Low hanging fruit: reflections about studying terrorism
Within this editorial, I intend to share my reflections about studying terrorism. This is a call for members of the broadly defined social and behavioral science community to look beyond the narrow confines of specialty areas and to explore what has already been done that can be applied to understanding terrorism. I call for the Society for Terrorism Research to take the lead in convening crossdisciplinary teams to summarize existing knowledge for different audiences, in outlining future research needs, and advocating systematic feedback of the actual outcomes of efforts to reduce terrorism
